Ashland Marketing operates this website. The public pages can be read without an account. This site does not ask visitors to create an account.

Information you submit

Project inquiries are sent through the Contact page. The form asks for:

  • Your name, which is required.
  • A business name, which is optional.
  • An email address, which is required.
  • A phone number, which is optional.
  • The kind of help you want: Website, SEO, AI & Automation, or Something else. This choice is required.
  • A message, which is required.

Send only what is needed to describe the project. Do not include payment card numbers or account passwords.

The form uses two checks against automated submissions. A hidden field is rejected if it is filled in. A submission sent too quickly, before the form has been open for a few seconds, is also rejected. Those rejected submissions are not stored as inquiries. The form also uses a WordPress security token, and a submission without a valid token is rejected. The form does not use a third-party captcha service.

How inquiries are stored and used

A valid inquiry is stored privately in WordPress on this website. It is not published, and it is not shown to other visitors. The stored record contains the information you submitted and the time it was saved.

Ashland Marketing uses that record to read the request, reply, and keep a private record of the conversation.

WordPress sends a notification email to a private mailbox. The notification contains the information submitted on the form. That mailbox address is not displayed on this website. If the notification cannot be sent, the inquiry is still kept in WordPress.

Service providers

Ashland Marketing does not sell personal information.

Hostinger hosts this website. That includes the server, the database where inquiries are stored, the network that delivers pages, and the server mail function that sends the inquiry notification. Hostinger processes that information as part of providing those services. That processing is not a sale of personal information.

Hostinger Reach’s script is loaded with the pages. The script looks for a Reach signup form. This website does not place a Reach form on its pages. When no form is present, the script does not record a form view or a form submission.

WordPress may store the result of an emoji display check in the browser’s session storage for that visit. If a page contains an emoji the browser does not draw itself, WordPress may request the character image from WordPress.org. The fonts used on this website are stored on this website.

This website does not use an analytics service or an advertising service.

Technical information and cookies

Delivering a page can involve ordinary technical information, including the IP address of the request, the date and time, the browser type, and the page address. The hosting provider may keep that information in server or security logs. This website does not set a separate retention period for those logs.

A visit to the public pages does not set an analytics cookie or an advertising cookie. An administrator who signs in receives the login cookies WordPress uses for that session. Those cookies are not used for advertising.

Most public pages may be cached by the host so they can be served faster. A cached page does not contain inquiry records. The Contact page is not kept in that public cache.

How long inquiries are kept

An inquiry remains in WordPress until an administrator deletes it. The website does not delete inquiries on an automatic schedule.

Access, correction, and deletion

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted. Use the Contact page, say that the message is a privacy request, and include the name and email address you used so the inquiry can be found.

Ashland Marketing will handle the request as applicable requirements demand. A record may be kept when it is still needed for a business record, security, or a legal obligation.
